Media for the Masses
With cost of technology falling, high quality digital cameras are finding their way into the hands of many people, including youth. This has led to an increased democratization of the media, allowing a greater diversity of voices to be heard.
There are countless ways to use a video camera to get your message across, to inform, and to inspire. We encourage you to explore all the creative ways that you think are appropriate.
You can create:
- a video poem
- a documentary
- a public service announcement
- a dramatic skit
- a fictional short film
- a promotional video for your chapter
|
Think about how your video can serve your campaign and how you can use it to advance your cause.
Whatever approach you take, think of your message and how your video might impact an audience.
Keep it under 7 minutes long. Remember, a longer video isn’t necessarily better; a shorter piece isn’t necessarily easier.
For the current pilot phase, chapters may submit as many entries as they would like. |
